Church Donations Justified by Odumodublvck: Holy Spirit as Energy Source for Generator
In a recent post, popular Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has declared his support for the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and its fundraising efforts. The artist, known for his philanthropic endeavours, stated that if he had the means, he would donate ₦1 billion or more to the church.
Odumodublvck's statement comes in response to Pastor E.A. Adeboye's recent donation appeal for RCCG. The rapper has defended the appeal, affirming his willingness to contribute generously and urging critics of the church’s funding drive to be understanding of the church's needs.
However, Odumodublvck has been quick to clarify that financial contributions alone do not guarantee spiritual salvation. He emphasized the importance of true devotion, which, according to him, goes beyond monetary donations. Serving God, as per Odumodublvck, is a matter of the heart, not a forced obligation.
The rapper also questioned who would pay for the logistics of evangelism if not through financial contributions. He pointed out that the church requires more money than the average business, and he criticized the notion that financial contributions are the only way to support the church.
Odumodublvck and his household have vowed to continue supporting the work of Christ shamelessly. They have also vowed to continuously support the work of God, beyond just financial contributions.
In summary, Odumodublvck views financial support to the church as important and justified. He stands ready to make significant contributions himself if financially able. However, he also warns against desecrating the idea of supporting the church, emphasizing that true devotion and commitment to one's faith truly count.
