Chocolate Dream Ring
20 Servings
Dough:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (250g)
- 1/2 cup sugar (100g)
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water (240ml)
- 1 stick butter (113g)
Filling:
- 12oz chocolate (340g), chopped
- 3/4 cup butter (170g)
- 1/2 cup sugar (100g)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (25g)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Create a well in the center and add water. Knead until a dough forms, adding more flour if needed to prevent stickiness.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll out each piece into a 20cm circle. Brush with a thin layer of butter and cut a circle out, leaving about 1cm border.
- Roll the circle into a cone and curve the cone into a ring shape. Place on a baking sheet and let rest for an additional 30 minutes.
- Prepare the filling by melting all ingredients in a microwave or saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Place two dough rings on a baking sheet, buttered side down. Spread a layer of filling in the center.
- Roll out another piece of dough into a large, thin rectangle (15 x 30 cm). Sprinkle a layer of filling over the dough and cut into 6 triangles.
- Roll each triangle, starting from the base, like a crescent roll, and place on top of the filling in the center of the first two dough rings.
- Repeat with the remaining dough and filling, making sure the rings touch each other.
- Brush the exposed dough rings with melted butter.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Although the article does not contain instructions for handmade rugs, you can find various tutorials online to create your own rugs using techniques like loom weaving or knitting.
In order to make a handmade rug, you will need materials such as yarn or wool, a loom or frame, measuring tape, scissors, needles, and a shuttle. It is important to pay attention to the overall design, color scheme, and required dimensions when setting up the loom.
Begin weaving by threading the yarn through the loom and passing it through the warp threads as necessary. Continue weaving row by row, following your desired pattern and color scheme, until you have completed the desired number of rows. Once the rug is complete, secure the final row and trim any excess yarn. If necessary, add a border to the rug.
Inspect the rug for imperfections and shape the fibers with a carpet rake or brush. Finally, wash and dry the rug according to specific instructions for the type of yarn used. With patience and guidance from a rug-making expert, you can create a beautiful handmade rug to match your decor.
