The investigation into the tragic stabbing incident at Schöntal Park in Aschaffenburg, which took place on January 22, 2025, has been concluded by the prosecutor's office as of June 11, 2025.

The suspected perpetrator, identified as Enamullah Omarzai, a 28-year-old Afghan asylum seeker, was arrested immediately after the attack near a train tunnel approximately two kilometers from the scene.
