In a sea of balloons and blooms, the heart-wrenching burial of young Fernando takes place, a victim of a supposed 1000 peso debt.

Child Fernando, burried surrounded by balloons and flowers, due to a one thousand peso debt obligation.

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a 5-year-old boy named Little Fernando met with an untimely end in the Ejidal El Pino neighborhood, Los Reyes La Paz. On August 4, his lifeless body was discovered inside a property [1].

The family of Little Fernando has sought justice, with their lawyer, Fabiola Villa, leading their fight. Three individuals, Ana Lilia "N", Lilia "N", and Carlos "N", are currently under investigation for the probable crime of disappearance of a minor [2]. The initial hearing for the formulation of charges against these three people took place on August 8 [3].

The State Attorney General's Office of Mexico delivered Little Fernando's body to his family, and prior to his burial, he was found inside a white bag with his hands tied with bandages [4]. The young boy was laid to rest in a municipal cemetery on Saturday [5].

The accused are currently being held in Nezahualcoyotl Prison after a judge's order for justified preventive imprisonment [6]. It's worth noting that the accused could potentially face additional charges of homicide and illegal deprivation of liberty [7]. Fabiola Villa has indicated that arrest warrants for these crimes could be issued [8].

While a different case involving a 5-year-old boy named Fernando has been reported elsewhere, it's important to clarify that the child victim in this case was Elyjiah Hearn, not Fernando [1][2]. The accused in the Elyjiah Hearn case is Bryscon Malik Gaddis, a 20-year-old man, who has been charged with one count of murder and assault on a child causing death [2].

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Little Fernando during this difficult time. The case in Los Reyes La Paz is known as "One thousand pesos that cost a child's life." [9]. The investigation continues, and we hope for justice to be served.
