It's confirmed that a, previously unnamed, ex-minister from Denmark's Social Democratic party is under police scrutiny for alleged possession of 'child abuse material' and a sexy doll designed for perverted predators.

After a long-held veil of secrecy, the police charges against this high-ranking politician have become public. The reason? Well, the Danish media blasted the story so hard that the cat was basically out of the bag!
Defense attorney Peter Lundmark Jensen, in a statement to the newswire Ritzau, confirmed that an earlier-requested name ban on the case has been lifted. He sighed, "The entire Danish press has covered this matter so relentlessly that my client's identity was inevitably exposed."

News outlet Berlingske dropped a bombshell on Friday, reporting anonymously that a former government minister had been charged with possession of abusive material involving children, without naming the malefactor. Berlingske claims it knows the guy's identity.
The sleazy so-and-so requested an injunction to keep his name out of the ruckus, but reneged on that demand as revealed in recent reports.
The charges slapped on him come under Denmark's criminal code section 235 part 2. This chapter handles the possession of sexual material like photographs, videos, or similar content showcasing kiddos under 18 years old.

Sources close to the case claim that the ex-minister, reportedly, purchased online access to such content, alleged to span an enormous amount and of exceptionally vile nature, wrote Berlingske.
Not only that, butour ex-minister is also accused under another section, 235a, to prohibit the presence of child sex dolls, a law instituted since 2022.
He maintains his innocence, stating, "I have never, ever harmed a child and I never will." He also hinted at revealing his side of the story in an upcoming book he intends to publish.
"I had hoped and expected to have more time for this, but I will now focus all my energy on finishing the book, telling my version, and clearing my name," he declared. He made it clear that he won't utter another word until his book is finally out.
The shady ex-minister served as business minister under former Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt, from August 2013 to June 2015. He was a parliamentarian from 2000 to 2019.
