At 2:18 PM, the BMW driver (29) loses control, smashing into a parked Audi before slamming head-on into an oncoming Opel. Inside the Opel, a 33-year-old sat behind the wheel, with an 8-year-old girl and a 57-year-old aunt as passengers.

The Opel smashes into a lamppost and a parked e-scooter, finally coming to a halt against a stationary BMW.

At first, the Audi driver (26) involved in this alleged race speeds off. However, police soon track him down in Jesteburg, Lower Saxony. They confiscate his driver's license as a result. Firefighters and ambulance respond to the scene of the crash, tending to the injured Opel occupants.

Even the BMW driver is whisked off to the hospital.
