Cheryl Hines Discusses Her Marriage to RFK Jr. and His Reported Sexual Misconduct Controversy
In a 2025 interview, actress Cheryl Hines confirmed that she and her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., are still married and going strong despite the public controversies and scandals surrounding Kennedy's personal and political life.
Hines, who is currently promoting her memoir titled Unscripted, emphasised that she and Kennedy discuss everything openly, and they are "really good friends" who trust each other. She plans to share more about their marriage in her forthcoming book.
The interview, published in The Wall Street Journal, steered clear of discussing the current status of their relationship after the past controversies. However, Hines confirmed that they "love each other and are still married," indicating they have moved past the issues publicly reported, including the 2024 sexting scandal involving Olivia Nuzzi.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, declined to comment on the allegations. The interview did not reveal any political opinions from Hines.
Despite being an independent, Hines has developed a "nice friendship" with former President Trump. Kennedy, on the other hand, is associated with controversies around his conspiracies that ignore science.
After the scandal broke, Kennedy found himself in the dog house at home, but the couple managed to weather the storm and are now working through challenges together.
