Chelsea Tops CIES Football Club Valuations, Russian Clubs Make Top 100
The CIES Football Observatory has released its annual ranking of the world's most valuable football clubs. Chelsea tops the list, followed by Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Chelsea leads the rankings with a squad valuation of 1.8 billion euros. Real Madrid is close behind with 1.684 billion euros, while Manchester City takes third place at 1.485 billion euros. Among Russian clubs, Zenit is the highest ranked at 63rd with a valuation of 225 million euros. Lokomotiv follows closely at 98th with 136 million euros. CSKA is in 80th place with 169 million euros, while Dinamo is ranked 100th with 134 million euros. Notably, no other Russian clubs feature in the top 100.
The CIES ranking reflects the immense wealth and power of Europe's top clubs. Chelsea's dominance at the top is clear, with Russian clubs Zenit, Lokomotiv, and CSKA making a showing in the top 100. Dinamo, however, finds itself at the bottom of this elite list.
