Chelsea Announces New Sponsor for Sporting Attire in Conference League: Why the Delay?
New Sponsor Debuts for Chelsea Tonight
Look out for Chelsea sporting a fresh new look tonight as they unveil their new sponsor, DAMAC Properties, in the Europa Conference League match against Djurgarden.
The West London outfit has strutted their stuff all season long sans a sponsor emblazoned on their shirts. But with the calendar dwindling down, they're making a late-game switch, introducing one for the final stretch of the campaign.
The long-awaited sponsor reveal comes as Chelsea faces Djurgarden this evening in the Europa Conference League.
Meet the New Sponsor
Brace yourself, Chelsea fans, as your team joins forces with DAMAC Properties – a Dubai-based luxury property developer. Their logo will grace the blues' shirts for the rest of the season.

Chelsea remained shirtless for the entire season up until now – failing to agree on a deal with any company. But, fasten your seatbelts, dear supporters, as DAMAC Properties will be slapped front and center for the upcoming month.
What sets this unique partnership apart is that, alongside the sponsor, Chelsea will also have a building developed in Dubai under their branding.
Here's a snippet from the club's official statement:
"Chelsea Residences by DAMAC, an ultra-modern development inspired by Chelsea FC, is being designed and launched in partnership with Chelsea FC in Dubai, set to be the first-of-its-kind football-themed branded residences."
The new development will boast Chelsea's iconic branding, from concierge services to high-performance spaces, reflecting their commitment to excellence and vision for the future.
"To commemorate this groundbreaking, global partnership and celebrate the launch of the first-ever Chelsea Football Club-branded residences, DAMAC Properties will appear on Chelsea FC men's and women's shirts for the remainder of the 24/25 season, debuting at the UEFA Conference League semi-final fixture against Djurgarden this Thursday."
Jason Gannon, Chelsea's COO, shared his excitement: "We're thrilled to partner with DAMAC, the global leader in luxury property development, to bring to market the first-ever Chelsea FC-branded residences in Dubai."
Alas, DAMAC won't be sticking around as Chelsea's front-of-shirt sponsor after the end of the current season and into the Club World Cup. Negotiations are underway for separate deals for those competitions, as well as the 2025/26 campaign.
But for now, it's DAMAC all the way, with a maximum of seven games to showcase their brand on Chelsea's kits. The first of those occurs tonight, with Chelsea in Sweden to face Djurgarden in the Conference League.
