The weather forecast for Spain presents a mixed picture, with various regions experiencing different conditions. According to AEMET, the Spanish meteorological agency, the country will see a stable anticyclonic weather pattern almost everywhere.

In the interior of the central and northern peninsula, as well as the Balearic Islands, maximum temperatures are expected to decrease significantly, with a more pronounced drop in the northern plateau, Iberia, and the Pyrenees. Conversely, maximum temperatures will exceed 34-36 degrees in the southwestern interior quadrant of the Peninsula and in some areas of the Canary Islands, including Gran Canaria and Tenerife, as well as the western islands. The Costa del Sol will also witness a rise in maximum temperatures.

Minimum temperatures will either increase or remain unchanged, staying above 20 degrees in the Mediterranean area and in some points of the southwestern depressions. It's worth noting that minimum temperatures will not drop below 20 degrees in the Mediterranean area.

Strong winds are a common feature in several regions. Rías Baixas, central Ebro, northern and eastern Balearic Islands, and the lower Ebro and Ampurdán are all experiencing strong winds, with some areas in the latter experiencing very strong gusts.

The northeastern peninsula and the Balearic Islands are being impacted by an Atlantic storm, bringing abundant cloudiness and precipitation. Heavy rainfall is expected in eastern Cantabria, the north face of the Pyrenees, and eastern Catalonia, with a chance of rain in the Balearic Islands as well.

Scattered weather evolution is observed in the center and eastern third of the country. Overcast skies are present in Cantabria. The AEMET weather forecast indicates that the northern coastal regions of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands will be affected by heavy rainfall and strong winds for the rest of the day.

It's important to note that this forecast is subject to change as weather patterns can evolve. Always stay informed and take necessary precautions when venturing outdoors.
