Chaotic Scene at "Nadelöhr" Parking Lot as Several Football Fans Suffer Injuries; Kidnapping of an Audi A 5 Reported
In an unexpected turn of events, a bus carrying football fans from Energie Cottbus was involved in a physical attack at the "Nadelöhr" parking lot on the A4, shortly after 9 PM on Saturday (08.03.). Nine individuals, aged between 21 and 53 from the districts of Spree-Neiße, Cottbus, and Elbe-Elster, were injured in the incident, with some sustaining serious injuries due to blows.
The perpetrators, believed to be fans of another football club, fled the scene without provocation. In a separate incident, a black Audi A5 Coupé was stolen from the street "Auf dem Schilderskopf" in Bebra between Saturday night (08.03.) and Sunday morning (09.03.). The stolen vehicle is estimated to be worth around 9,000 euros.
The Regional Police Headquarters East Hesse is the responsible authority for both incidents. The police have initiated investigations into both cases, which are ongoing.
