Chaos in parking lot "Nadelöhr": Multiple football fans hurt, abduction of an Audi A5
In an unfortunate incident, a group of far-right extremists allegedly attacked football fans on a bus at the "Nadelöhr" parking lot in Ronshausen, East Hesse, on Saturday, 8th March, around 9 PM. The bus, carrying football fans from Energie Cottbus, had stopped at the parking lot on the A4. Shortly after, vehicles of another football club's fans arrived at the same location. The perpetrators, who were later identified, attacked the fans without provocation. Nine people aged between 21 and 53 from the districts of Spree-Neiße, Cottbus, and Elbe-Elster were injured in the attack. Some of the injuries were serious, and two of the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment by ambulance. The perpetrators made off with a black Audi A5 Coupé, which was stolen between Saturday night and Sunday morning from "Auf dem Schilderskopf" street. The stolen car, worth approximately 9,000 euros, was later recovered. The police have initiated investigations into the incident, which are ongoing. When police arrived at the scene, the perpetrators had fled eastwards on the A4 with stolen fan items worth approximately 500 euros.
