Changes in Leadership: New Appointee for the Public Prosecutor's Office
Andreas Freyberger, a native of Ulm, embarked on his legal career at the District Court Schwäbisch Hall in 1996. After a few years, he was seconded to the Ministry of Justice, where he played a significant role in the field of organized crime.
In 1999, Freyberger moved to the Regional Court Heilbronn, followed by the Administrative Court Stuttgart and the Public Prosecutor's Office Heilbronn. His impressive work at the Public Prosecutor's Office led to his secondment for trial at the Higher Regional Court Stuttgart.
Freyberger returned to the practice at the Public Prosecutor's Office Heilbronn, but his journey didn't stop there. In early 2009, he left the Ministry of Justice and became acting head of the Public Prosecutor's Office Mosbach.
A year later, in 2010, Freyberger was appointed Chief Public Prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor's Office Mosbach. During his tenure, he worked diligently and was elected chairman of the staff council at the Ministry of Justice.
However, his career took another turn in 2013, when he left the Public Prosecutor's Office Mosbach and moved to the Public Prosecutor's Office Ellwangen, where he served as the head for over twelve years.
In May 2013, Freyberger was promoted to Chief Public Prosecutor in Ulm, a significant milestone in his career.
