The Blades were joined by the tenacious Sunderland, who finished fourth. Meanwhile, the resilient Coventry City and Bristol City secured the last two play-off spots following a thrilling end to the season. Coventry nudged their way into the play-offs with a 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough, while Bristol City claimed the sixth and final spot thanks to a nail-biting 2-2 draw against Millwall.

When's the Championship Play-off Final?

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 24, when the hotly anticipated Championship Play-off Final will take place at the renowned Wembley Stadium.

As for the exact kick-off time, the details are yet to be confirmed. Last year's final was set for a 3pm kick-off, while the 2023 game kicked off at an unconventional 4:45pm.
