Champions League Third Round Accumulators and Betting Forecasts
From SportsBuzz, Nov 5, 2025 Three rounds into the Champions League's new league stage format, and we're already shaking things up. Aston Villa leading the pack is a bit of a shocker, and they'll face Club Brugge on Wednesday night, with Unai Emery's men looking to keep their top 4 spot in the Champions League alive. But remember, anything can happen.
Man City is hot on the heels of the leaders, but Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and AC Milan are lagging behind. With eight rounds in this format, these teams would do well to start catching up now. After assessing the games and considering team forms in the domestic leagues, here are my UCL acca picks for this week. Favorites galore, with plenty of long odds, looking like midweek winners.
UCL Round 3 Games Breakdown
Here's a recap of all the action on Tuesday and Wednesday. I can't stand waiting two days for my accas to come through, so instead, I'll do a Tuesday acca and one for Wednesday.
| Tuesday, Nov 5 | Wednesday, Nov 6 || --- | --- || 17:45 BST | 17:45 BST || PSV vs Girona | Club Brugge vs Aston Villa || Slovan vs Dinamo | Shakhtar vs Young Boys || 20:00 BST | 20:00 BST || Real Madrid vs AC Milan | Crvena Zvezda vs Barcelona || Sporting vs Manchester City | Inter vs Arsenal || Liverpool vs Leverkusen | PSG vs Atletico || Lille vs Juventus | Bayern vs Benfica || Dortmund vs Sturm | Stuttgart vs Atalanta || Celtic vs Leipzig | Feyenoord vs RB Salzburg || Bologna vs AS Monaco | Sparta Praha vs Brest |
With so many high-profile games on the line, there's plenty to bet on here. I fancy Madrid x Milan, as well as Sporting x City, Liverpool x Leverkusen, and Wednesday's Inter x Arsenal, PSG x Atletico. But I've also seen inflated prices on favorites. For instance, Bayern Munich, priced at 3/10 to beat Benfica at home, while Kane and company should get the job done, the price seems a bit too short for my liking. The game between Liverpool and Leverkusen is a similar story. The odds are good, but I think a home win isn't as simple as it seems.

Dortmund vs Sturm
17:45 BST
Tuesday 20:00 @ Signal Iduna Park
Dortmund at home should be an easy win, as Sturm has lost all three of its Champions League games, only managing to score one goal. Dortmund beat Leipzig at home this weekend, and they've provided entertainment in the Champions League, winning games 3-1 and 7-1, while losing to Madrid 5-2. I'm expecting them to score plenty of goals against the weaker Austrian team. To ramp things up, I'm backing them at a -1 handicap, with Adeyemi, Guirassy, and Gittens poised to pile on the goals against Sturm.
PSV vs Girona
Dortmund -1 Handicap @ 10/21
Club Brugge vs Aston Villa
Sporting Lisbon vs Man City
Tuesday 20:00 @ Jose Alvalade
Slovan vs Dinamo
Sporting's manager Amorim has recently been signed by the other Manchester club, so this game will get a lot of media attention. Sporting has been on fire in Liga Portugal, winning 10 out of 10, scoring a whopping 35 goals. Man City has shown signs of vulnerability in its past two games, losing to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup and Bournemouth in a shock Premier League loss. They comfortably beat Sparta Praha and Slovan, and both teams are level on points.
Shakhtar vs Young Boys
Even though Sporting is playing at home, City should bounce back, and Haaland needs to kickstart his Champions League goal tally to compete with Harry Kane and Raphinha. City comes at lengthy odds, and the shakeup at Lisbon following Amorim's imminent departure will play a significant role in this game.
Manchester City Moneyline @ 4/5

Lille vs Juventus
20:00 BST
Tuesday 20:00 @ Decathlon Arena
Juve is a bit unpredictable this season, with the team simply not delivering consistently. They've beaten Leipzig and PSV but then got a silly red card against Stuttgart and lost 1-0. In Serie A, they've had mixed fortunes, beating Udinese, Lazio, and Genoa, but drawing 0-0 against Napoli, Cagliari, and Parma. The 4-4 draw at Inter was a spectacle, but Juve is far too inconsistent. Lille, on the other hand, have eclipsed expectations in their first two games, beating both Madrid sides, Atleti, and Real. They are dark horses this season, and I can see them advancing further in the Champions League.
Real Madrid vs AC Milan
Neither team in this game is prolific in scoring goals, but I think Juventus will dig in and shut down Lille. The French team has been impressive in its first two Champions League games, but with tougher matchups against Sturm, Bologna, Feyenoord, and a challenging game against Liverpool at Anfield, they have a lot on their plate. Juventus, on the other hand, faces AC Milan, Man City, and Benfica in the Champions League. So with more difficult games on the horizon, I think Juventus will eke out a victory here.
Crvena Zvezda vs Barcelona
Juventus Moneyline @ 6/4
Real Madrid vs AC Milan
Sporting vs Manchester City
Tuesday 20:00 @ Santiago Bernabeu
Inter vs Arsenal
Madrid stumbled against Lille, but they came back with a vengeance to beat Dortmund 5-2. I called for Madrid to beat Barcelona in El Clasico two weeks ago, and I was taken aback when Ancelotti's men fell apart under Hansi Flick's command. Nevertheless, Madrid sits in 12th place in the Champions League, which is unacceptable within the Madrid inner circle.
AC Milan only has 3 points and sits 25th in the Champions League. That means they'll be eliminated from the Champions League if they don't start collecting points. A victory against Brugge in the last round has given them the spark they need, but before that, Milan lost to both Leverkusen and Liverpool. The team is wasteful in front of goal, but both teams concede many goals. Real fares better at converting chances and dominates the contest at home, so I'd back Madrid to win and do it by a good margin of goals.
Liverpool vs Leverkusen
Real Madrid -1 Handicap @ 23/20
PSG vs Atletico
Club Brugge vs Aston Villa
Wednesday 17:45 @ Jan Breydel Stadium
Lille vs Juventus
The Villans have won all three of their Champions League games without conceding a single goal. Their wins against Young Boys and Bologna are overshadowed by Villa's miraculous 1-0 triumph over Bayern Munich. They sit sixth in the Premier League following their 4-1 loss to Tottenham. However, Villa's determination and courage in the face of bigger teams impress me.
Bayern vs Benfica
Club Brugge beat Sturm away but lost to AC Milan and Dortmund. This encounter seems more evenly matched, but Unai Emery is the more experienced manager and possesses a solid track record in Europe. Villa should win this game on the road.
Aston Villa Moneyline @ 21/20
Dortmund vs Sturm
Crvena Zvezda vs Barcelona
Stuttgart vs Atalanta
Wednesday 20:00 @ Stadium Rajko Mitic
Barcelona has racked up 40 goals in 12 La Liga games and has won its last six games by a margin of two goals or more. A stat worth noting: Barca is unstoppable, having not lost since the first round against AS Monaco. Since then, they've beat Bayern 4-1, thrashed Young Boys 5-0, and crushed Madrid in La Liga 4-0. Even if Flick decides to rest his key players, which I doubt, they shouldn't have much trouble against Crvena Zvezda.
Celtic vs Leipzig
The Serbian team has lost all three of its Champions League games: 2-10 to Benfica, 4-0 to Inter, and 5-1 to Monaco. The latter matchup is especially concerning. While Barca also lost to Monaco, I don't foresee Crvena Zvezda scoring against Barcelona, even with a -1 handicap.
Feyenoord vs RB Salzburg
Barcelona -1 Handicap @ 1/2
Inter vs Arsenal
Bologna vs AS Monaco
Wednesday 20:00 @ San Siro
Sparta Praha vs Brest
Inter is on a roll right now, just one point behind Serie A leaders Napoli, and seventh in the Champions League standings. They held City to a draw in game 1, and then beat Crvena Zvezda 4-0 and Young Boys 1-0. Arsenal, on the other hand, enters this game in a sour mood. Their loss to Newcastle in this weekend's EPL games and the controversial draw at home to Liverpool have left a bitter taste.
Arsenal sits ninth in the Champions League, but they haven't scored a plethora of goals. They won 2-0 against PSG and 1-0 against Shakhtar. The Gunners' first game ended 0-0 against Atalanta. I think Inter has the edge here, particularly given Arsenal's defensive injury woes. I'm rooting for the Italian outfit to score at home, but I don't think they'll breeze past the Gunners. Instead, both teams might find the back of the net in this close-fought game.
BTTS @ 17/20
PSG vs Atletico Madrid
Wednesday 20:00 @ Parc des Princes
PSG and Atleti have the same number of points in the Champions League, making them 19th and 27th in the standings, respectively. PSG has faced Girona, Arsenal, and PSV, and their 4-point haul from those three games is commendable. Atleti hasn't delivered as expected in the Champions League, winning only one game while losing two. Their 4-0 loss against Benfica came as a shock, but Atleti rebounded in the most recent round to lose 1-3 at home against Lille. They concede goals late in games, but here's some information to make this game more intriguing.
PSG has only scored 2 goals in the Champions League, one each against PSV and Girona. Bradley Barcola has lit up Liga F with 8 goals in 10 games, and Robert Lewandowski, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe have also contributed to PSG's domestic league tally. Atleti has a new signing in Alexander Sorloth, but he hasn't delivered as expected.
I don't see this game turning into a goal-fest, with PSG aware of their upcoming games against Man City and Bayern. While Atleti faces Leverkusen as their only remaining challenge. So, with tougher games awaiting, I expect PSG to double down and fight for the win.
PSG Moneyline @ 4/6
Champions League Round 3 Acca Picks and Odds
The balance of confidence picks and riskier choices remains equal, but there's great value to be found across all the games.
Of the Tuesday picks, Juve is the game I'm most concerned about. They should win, and have to, but Juve's inconsistency has me second-guessing. For the Wednesday games, the Inter x Arsenal BTTS bet is a bold call. I don't expect both teams to score a bunch of goals, but if either breaks the deadlock, the other could respond within minutes.

Atletico Madrid faces Aston Villa in the Champions League Round 3, adding to the excitement of the European leagues. Manchester City takes on Sporting Lisbon in this round, with their manager Amorim recently focusing on another Manchester club. Real Madrid faces AC Milan in the same round of the Champions League. In the Portuguese league, Sporting has been dominant, winning ten out of ten games, while Man City has shown signs of vulnerability in the past two games.
In the EPL, Liverpool and Leverkusen are set to clash, with the odds favoring a Liverpool win, but the price seems a bit too short for some. Similarly, Bayern Munich is priced at 3/10 to beat Benfica, but Kane and company's job might not be as straightforward as the odds suggest.
