Prince Harry Kane Shines as Bayern Munich Cruise Past Chelsea in Champions League

Harry Kane continued his impressive form for Bayern Munich as they secured a 3-1 victory over Chelsea in the Champions League. The English striker scored twice, taking his tally to nine goals in five games across all competitions for the German giants this season.

Kane's first goal came directly from Bayern's relentless pressure, while his second was the result of a teammate's pressure on Malo Gusto. The former Tottenham Hotspur striker also converted a penalty to add to his tally.

The win marked Bayern's third straight victory over Chelsea since their last meeting in the 2012 Champions League final. The Bavarian side looked dominant throughout the match, with Kane's off-the-ball work playing a crucial role in forcing mistakes from the Blues.

Chelsea seemed to lose energy as the game progressed, with little to cheer about. Michael Olise forced an own goal from Trevoh Chalobah to give Bayern an early lead, but that was as good as it got for the London side. Cole Palmer scored a brilliant goal and a smart finish for Chelsea, but both were disallowed due to offside after a VAR review.

Prince Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, and his impact has been immediate. The 29-year-old expressed his hope to score more than 11 goals this season in the Champions League, referring to his tally last season. Kane also stated that his aim is always to improve and get better.

Bayern Munich's next match is against Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday. With Kane leading the line, they will be confident of continuing their impressive form in all competitions.
