Chaminade to Resurface in 2025 Maui Invitational Tournament Brackets Unveiling

The 2025 Maui Invitational is all set to take place at the Lahaina Civic Center from November 24 to 26, with eight teams set to battle it out for the coveted title.

The tournament will commence with an opening game between North Carolina State and Seton Hall, followed by a clash between USC and Boise State. The host team, Chaminade, will face Washington State in their opening game, while Arizona State will take on Texas in the nightcap opener.

Texas's return to the Maui Invitational is noteworthy, as they seek to add onto their strong record in the tournament. The Longhorns last participated in 2020, where they emerged victorious. However, their 2025 season has not been without its challenges, as they had a disappointing SEC debut and made it to the NCAA Tournament as a 19-15 team.

Chaminade, a Division II school based in Honolulu, will look to leverage their home court advantage against Washington State. The Silverswords have a history of upsets in the Maui Invitational, having previously defeated teams like Providence, Stanford, Villanova, Oklahoma, and California. In fact, they have even defeated Texas in the past, back in 2012.

Boise State, on the other hand, will aim to improve against power conference competition. The Broncos were one of the first four teams left out of the NCAA Tournament after losing in the Mountain West title game.

NC State, coached by Will Wade after a disappointing follow-up to a 2024 Final Four showing, will be eager to make their mark in the tournament. Seton Hall, coached by Shaheen Holloway, will seek redemption after a seven-win season.

The 2025 Maui Invitational bracket features three teams making their tournament debut and two previous tournament champions. The event is set to add to the iconic tournament's rich history, as stated by the tournament chairman, Dave Odom. All 12 games will be televised across ESPN networks.

The slate closes with Texas, the lone 2025 NCAA Tournament participant, facing Arizona State in the final game of the tournament. It promises to be an exciting end to an action-packed event.
