Over the next five days, winds reaching speeds of 40-50 kmph will persist over the southern states, while the cyclonic circulation over South Gujarat is expected to bring isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall across the Gujarat region, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Here are the specific weather advisories and expected rainfall patterns for each region in India from July 9 to 14:

**Northwest India** - Uttarakhand is expected to receive very heavy rainfall on July 9 and heavy rainfall from July 9 to 14. - East Rajasthan will experience very heavy rainfall from July 11 to 12, while West Rajasthan will experience heavy rainfall from July 12 to 14. - Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh will see heavy rainfall on July 9 and 10. - Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, etc. will experience heavy rainfall from July 9 to 10. - East Uttar Pradesh will experience heavy rainfall from July 9 to 10, West Uttar Pradesh from July 9 to 11.

**West India** - Gujarat will experience isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall due to cyclonic circulation over south Gujarat. - Konkan & Goa will likely see heavy rainfall from July 9 to 15, with Ghat areas of Maharashtra experiencing heavy rains. - Madhya Maharashtra will experience heavy rainfall on July 9 and 10.

**Central India** - East Madhya Pradesh has been issued red alerts for extremely heavy rainfall. - Chhattisgarh will experience intense rainfall around July 8. - Vidarbha will see heavy rainfall predicted.

**South Peninsular India** - Coastal Karnataka, Kerala will experience isolated heavy rainfall from July 9 to 15. - Telangana will experience isolated heavy rainfall on July 9.

**Northeast India** - Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is expected across the region, with isolated heavy rainfall likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from July 9 to 15. Very heavy rainfall is expected over Tripura on July 9.

**Delhi-NCR** - The national capital will remain under cloudy skies with light to moderate showers over the next four days, temperatures expected to remain below normal during this period. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain.

The widespread rainfall event is being contributed to by a low-pressure area over Gangetic West Bengal, a cyclonic circulation over South Gujarat, and an active monsoon trough.
