More Flights for Vacation Start at Airports in Saxony - Central Germany's Airports Prepare for Busy Autumn Holiday Season

Central Germany's airports, particularly Leipzig/Halle and Dresden, are gearing up for a busy fall holiday season. This year, 177 passenger aircraft will take off over the first weekend alone, marking a 19% increase from last year.

Over the fall holidays, Leipzig/Halle Airport will see 123 departures, with Dresden Airport hosting 54. This includes flights to popular sun destinations like Antalya, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife, and Corfu, as well as European metropolises such as Vienna and Istanbul. These flights are operated by various airlines, offering a wide range of choices for travelers. In total, up to 236 weekly departures are expected from Leipzig/Halle, and up to 113 from Dresden during this period.

The fall holidays are shaping up to be a busy time for central German airports, with a significant increase in departures compared to last year. Travelers can look forward to a variety of destinations, both for sun-seekers and city explorers.
