Census Deadline Announced in Kazakhstan

Hold Up, Folks, Kazakhstan's National Census Got a Shift!

Cheers! Who's up for some census fun? Almaty.tv's got the scoop - the Government Decree of September 16, 2020, revises the decree of June 19, 2019, on the National Census of the Population. So, grab your pens and get ready, because Kazakhstan's national census is a-comin'! But not straight away, y'all - it'll happen between October 1 and 30, 2021.

Now, the government's also approved something called the Plan of Activities for Conducting the National Census in 2021. Originally, the national census was supposed to go down in October 2020, but... well, we all know what was going on in the world back then.

As for the ins and outs of what's changed, well, the search results weren't exactly forthcoming. Looks like global factors like the COVID-19 pandemic might've caused some disruptions. But, lucky for us, migrations within Kazakhstan have been kinda crazy! See, in 2022 alone, over 320,000 Kazakhs changed regions! However, don't go thinking the migration patterns directly affected the census - they're more about understanding population distribution after the event.

Remember, it's always important to keep an ear to the ground when it comes to official government announcements and statistical bureau publications for accurate census info. Stay original, stay informed, and let's all do our part in getting our beloved Kazakhstan counted!

Scheduled for October 2021, the policy-and-legislation regarding Kazakhstan's general news will be the National Census, as announced in the revised Government Decree from September 2020. However, originally scheduled for October 2020, this census was postponed due to global factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Interestingly, according to the latest data, over 320,000 Kazakhs have changed regions in 2022, but these migration patterns do not directly affect the census results, rather they provide insights into post-event population distribution.
