In the first two games, Jimmy Butler led the Heat to victory, both played in Beantown. However, Game 3 was where the boys from the Sunshine State held a veritable demonstration of teamwork. They played like a well-oiled machine, with 11 players scoring at least a point and six scorers reaching double figures! Vincent Gabe earned the title of top scorer with a whopping 29 points.
The most astonishing part of Miami's performance in Game 3 was their defense. They played defenders, making the Celtics look like they'd never played basketball before. Jayson Tatum, whose regular season PPG was an impressive 30.1, scored mere pitiful 14 points.
B tops, Bottoms Out?
The vibe in the Boston Celtics locker room has to be a bit depressing. They were anointed as the favorites, but now find themselves 3-0 on the losing end. No one saw it coming, but no one can say they didn't deserve it. The Heat outplayed them, plain and simple.
