A star-studded tribute album, titled We Love Udo – The Udo Lindenberg Tribute Album, will mark Udo Lindenberg's 80th birthday on 17 May. It features 24 artists reimagining his most famous songs. The first single, Céline's take on Plan B, arrives on 27 February.

The project brings together a mix of well-known names to honour Lindenberg's long career. Among them, Hans Zimmer and Ina Müller contribute fresh versions of his classics. Müller's rendition of Bis ans Ende der Welt and Max Giesinger's spin on Ich lieb' dich überhaupt nicht mehr stood out in early previews.

The full album drops on 8 May, just days before Lindenberg turns 80. Each track offers a new twist on his iconic music, blending different styles while keeping the spirit of the originals. The release schedule builds anticipation, with the first single setting the tone weeks ahead.

Fans can expect a diverse collection of covers when the album launches in early May. The tribute highlights Lindenberg's influence across generations of musicians. The project also serves as a milestone celebration for his decades in German music.
