"Combustible Celebs on 'Reality Showdown'"
Prominent celebrities create commotion - Celebrity gossip fodder gained new life from these celebrities' actions.
Gear up for the sixth season of "Reality Showdown," airing May 7! Among the 22 competitors, there's no shortage of potential drama—none more so than Can Kaplan (30) and Daymian Weiß (22). Kaplan, once engaged to reality TV bombshell Walentina Doronina (24), was infamously betrayed by her with Weiß on "Germany Shore." These firecrackers have left their mark in past seasons.
Gina-Lisa Lohfink's Scandalous Legacy
Reality TV sensation Gina-Lisa Lohfink (38) turned heads in the second season of "Reality Showdown." She shared a passionate moment with Prince Frédéric of Anhalt (81), who once sought to adopt her, and rekindled her flame with her supposed ex-lover Loona (50)—a reunion that took place a decade after their past fling. "The feelings are still there," Lohfink admitted in season two. Loona, however, vehemently denied their romantic ties.
There was also tension with fellow candidate Andrej Mangold (38). Lohfink's relentless flirtation eventually led to her early departure in episode three.
One-Euro Deal for Reality Fame
"Reality Showdown" has no shortage of A-list celebrities. Reality TV star Serkan Yavuz (32) sealed a special agreement and graced the show with his presence for just one Euro two years ago. His audition failed to impress in the past, so he decided to implement this unconventional gamble: "Now I'm playing my last card and doing it for a single euro," he said at the time. In the end, his risk paid off: He emerged victorious and pocketed 40,000 Euros.
Heated Rivalry Between "Topmodel" Girls
Former "Germany's Next Topmodel" contestants Gisele Oppermann (37) and Elsa Latifaj (19) made headlines last year. Latifaj openly pursued fellow candidate Calvin Kleinen (33), while Oppermann angrily reached into Kleinen's pocket for a lighter. Their jealousy exploded in a catastrophic confrontation, laced with vulgar language, scathing insults, and even physical altercations. The other contestants stepped in to mediate, but to no avail. Production staff eventually intervened to defuse the tense situation.
Both participants were instantly dismissed from the show with no regard for their apologies. Oppermann later apologized for her actions on Instagram, stating, "I'm really ashamed and have decided to give up alcohol." Shortly after, Latifaj acknowledged her mistake in the show "Promi Penance," confessing that she merely sought to vent her anger.
Since their stint on "Summer House of the Stars," Maurice Dziwak (26) and Aleksandar Petrović (34) have carried a deep-seated grudge. Their feud resurfaced during their time on the "Sala" show, leading to a tumultuous emotional rollercoaster. After their disagreement resurfaced, they were unavoidably forced to attend a shared red-carpet event, ultimately putting their "Summer House" feud to rest, and finding reconciliation. Dziwak even affectionately referred to Petrović as "Bro."
However, their peaceful coexistence was short-lived. When Petrović discovered that Dziwak had insulted him during a game, the tension erupted. He angrily let loose with obscene remarks, and the situation escalated rapidly, with both men threatening to brawl. Two crew members had to intervene to prevent the confrontation from getting out of hand.
