Celebrity attendees convened in Ekaterinburg for the grand unveiling of a distinctive padel arena.
The Padel Arena of RMK was grandly opened in Yekaterinburg, Russia, this weekend, on September 20 and 21. The event attracted a host of prominent figures, including Governor Denis Pavler, Mayor Alexei Orlov, Lyudmila Babushkina (Chairman of the Legislative Assembly), and Igor Altushkin (founder of Russian Copper Company), who were all in attendance to celebrate the occasion.

The fifth Russian Padel Tour tournament will take place at the new arena this weekend. The program includes a show match, a super match, and category A, an open rating tournament for men's category B, and women's category C matches.
In addition to the tournament, the opening of a children's padel school in Yekaterinburg is planned for the future. The school will provide an opportunity for kids to be trained by world-class specialists, fostering a new generation of padel players.
Ikhra, the main coach of the RMC Padel Academy and two-time world champion, hinted at the possibility of another padel club opening in the future. This suggests that the growth of padel sports in Yekaterinburg and the surrounding area is set to continue.
Alexei Sorokin, General Director of the Russian Padel Federation, expressed his confidence in the arena's ability to host top-level competitions. He stated that the arena sets a new standard for other padel clubs in Russia, marking a significant step forward for the sport in the country.
