Wanna dance till you drop? Festivals in North Rhine-Westphalia have got you covered! Whether you're into techno, rock, or pop, there's no need to pick just one genre. Here's the scoop on some unmissable events:

Return to the past at the industrial playground, TRAUMZEITFESTIVAL (20-22 June) in Duisburg-Meiderich. Featuring bands like The Notwist, Inhaler, and Il Civetto, this three-day extravaganza takes place in the former blast furnace. Three-day passes cost 120 euros, with day tickets starting at 55 euros.

Like a walk through the park combined with fantastic live music? Check out the GREEN JUICE FESTIVAL in Bonn (1-2 August) at Park Neu-Vilich. Catch Leoniden or Großstadtgeflüster and snag tickets for 99 euros or day tickets for 59 euros.

Fancy a beach vacation with electronic beats? Haltern am See's SUNSET BEACH FESTIVAL (28 June) delivers both! Almost sold out at 54 euros, you can catch Nena, Alphaville, and more on the sandy shores. Pre-festival concerts on the 26th and 27th are 60 euros.

If reggae's your rhythm, SUMMERJAM FESTIVAL at Fühlinger See in Cologne (4-6 July) is celebrating its 40th birthday next year. Featured artists include Junior Kelly, K.I.Z., and Etana. Three-day passes are 165 euros, with day tickets costing 65 euros.

Prefer electronic music? You're in luck! The PAROOKAVILLE FESTIVAL (18-20 July) near Weeze boasts the title of the largest electronic music festival in Germany, featuring David Puentez, Shoki, and more. Camping tickets start at 355 euros, with day tickets for 109 euros.

Can't get enough electronic music? Still grab tickets for the ELECTRISIZE FESTIVAL in Erkelenz (8-10 August) for 165 euros or day tickets for 55 euros.

Hip-hop, indie, and pop lovers unite! The JUICY BEATS FESTIVAL (25-26 July) in Dortmund's Westfalenpark will be in festival overdrive with Zsá Zsá, Zartmann, and more. Weekend tickets run 99 euros, and day tickets cost 62 euros.

The small town of Rees on the lower Rhine bursts with life for the HALDERN POP FESTIVAL (7-9 August) with artists like Zaho de Sagazan. Tickets including camping are 133 euros.

Up for a creative adventure? The SAN HEJMO FESTIVAL (August 15-16) in Weeze offers phenomenal live music, art exhibitions, and a chance to participate in the "Urban Art District." Tickets are 199 euros, with camping almost sold out.

Listen and discover at the BOCHUM TOTAL FESTIVAL (July 3-6) in the heart of Bochum. This free event offers an opportunity to check out emerging bands for four days of music discovery.

Last but not least, the OLGAS ROCK FESTIVAL in Oberhausen (August 8-9) has been a magnet for rock fans for the past 25 years, offering free rock music. This year's event is said to be the last in this format.
