Music lovers can immerse themselves in beats and melodies at the TRAUMZEITFESTIVAL (20-22 June) in Duisburg-Meiderich. Set on the grounds of a former blast furnace, the festival boasts massive stages, and a deserted industrial landscape backdrop. Performers this year include The Notwist, Inhaler, and Il Civetto. Three-day passes are 120 euros, with day tickets starting at 55 euros.

Vibes galore in Bonn

The GREEN JUICE FESTIVAL (1-2 August) offers a similar sonic mix in the heart of the city. Taking place in Park Neu-Vilich for 17 years, it's perfect for Rhinelanders seeking a nearby festival experience. Leoniden and Großstadtgeflüster are lined up for those eager to enjoy their music live. Tickets start at 99 euros, with day passes available from 59 euros.

Summer vacay vibes in Haltern am See

Get into the vacation mood with electronic beats at the SUNSET BEACH FESTIVAL (28 June). The festival takes place on a sandy beach and features international DJs. Tickets are nearly sold out for 54 euros. On the days leading up to the event, Nena and Alphaville will perform a series of concerts, with prices starting at around 60 euros.

Pump up the reggae in Cologne

Celebrate its 40th anniversary next year, but still going strong this year, the SUMMERJAM FESTIVAL (4-6 July) at Fühlinger See will feature artists like Junior Kelly, K.I.Z., and Etana. Three-day passes are available starting at 165 euros, with daily tickets for 65 euros each.

Techno takeover in Cologne

The PAROOKAVILLE FESTIVAL (18-20 July) is Germany's largest electronic music festival and namesake of a fictional city that comes alive annually. Set near Weeze airport, this year marks its tenth anniversary. Even though regular tickets are sold out, camping tickets start at 355 euros. Day tickets are available starting at 109 euros.

More electronic music in Erkelenz

For those still craving electronic beats, the ELECTRISIZE FESTIVAL from 8-10 August offers DJs like David Puentez and Shoki. Prices start at 165 euros for the entire festival, with day tickets available from 55 euros.

Experience old and new in Dortmund

From July 25-26, the JUICY BEATS FESTIVAL in Dortmunder Westfalenpark will showcase stages adorned with colorful fruits, where you can dance to the tunes of Zartmann and Zsá Zsá. Weekend tickets are 99 euros, day tickets are 62 euros.

Pop paradise in Rees

From August 7th to 9th, the 42nd HALDERN POP FESTIVAL will rock the city of Rees on the lower Rhine. Artists like Zaho de Sagazan are set to perform. Tickets, including camping, start at 133 Euros.

Creativity and live music in Weeze

The SAN HEJMO FESTIVAL (August 15th to 16th) offers more than just music. It features live performances from artists like Nina Chuba or 01099, as well as an Urban Art District where visitors can admire art and even create their own. Tickets start at 199 Euros, with most camping tickets nearly sold out according to organizers.

Bid farewell to the season at the JETZT & IMMER FESTIVAL (September 5th to 6th) at Ratinger See with a two-day curated program of indie and pop artists, including Paula Engels and Domiziana, celebrating its sixth birthday. A two-day combo ticket is still available for 85 Euros, with daily tickets priced at 45 Euros each.

Free music experiences in Bochum and Oberhausen

Discover new bands and test their music's reception at the BOCHUM TOTAL FESTIVAL (July 3rd to 6th) in Bochum's city center, or get your rock fix at the OLGA-Park in Oberhausen during the OLGAS ROCK FESTIVAL on August 8th and 9th. Both events are free to the public.
