Celebration of Veterans Day
The Veterans and Soldiers' Association Großmehring is set to host an anniversary celebration on Sunday, September 21st. The day's events will include a church procession, service, honors for the fallen and missing, communal lunch, and member honors.
The celebration will commence with the assembly for the church procession, which will begin at 9:50 AM in Starkstraße. The sponsor association Manching will be picked up at the brewery street at 9:35 AM and will then proceed to the assembly.
At 10:00 AM, the service will take place in the Wolfgang Church. After the service, the fallen and missing will be honored at the war memorial. The church procession for the communal lunch will then take place from Starkstraße to the "Sperling" inn in the Nibelungenhalle.
The communal lunch will start immediately following the church service and honors for the fallen and missing. The "Sperling" inn in the Nibelungenhalle will host both the communal lunch and the member honors during the anniversary celebration.
The member honors will take place during the communal lunch. The anniversary celebration will conclude with the conclusion of the member honors.
