Come May 9-11, the Hanseatic city will once again be a scene of merriment, thanks to the event's diverse program, as declared by Hamburg's Minister of Economy, Melanie Leonhard (SPD).
Get your groove on as the music scene lights up the harbor! Featuring powerhouse performances by the likes of Nina Chuba, Lotto King Karl, and Johannes Oerding, the 2023 festival is shaping up to be an unforgettable pop extravaganza! The party doesn't stop at the shoreline, with a floating stage erected right on the Elbe at the landing bridges, ensuring you get the full concert experience. The musical extravaganza will culminate in a grand Fireworks Finale on Saturday, May 10.
Fear not, maritime enthusiasts, as there's plenty to keep shipspotters busy too! More than 250 vessels, including classic entry and exit parades on Friday and Sunday, will grace the waters of the Elbe. And let's not forget the timeless tugboat ballet, which will captivate audiences with synchronized maneuvers set to traditional music from this year's partner region, Burgenland.
