MAR10 Day Celebration Reaches 2.5 Million Laps Milestone
The MAR10 Day event, a celebration honouring the iconic character Mario, has come to a close after a successful run. The event saw over 2.5 million laps completed by participants, marking a significant milestone in gaming history.
During the celebration, Nintendo offered exclusive rewards for players who participated in the event. My Nintendo Platinum Points were available for pickup on the My Nintendo mission page, allowing participants to claim Mario-themed items or discounts in the My Nintendo Store. These rewards included a Super Mario Stadium Tote Bag and a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe License Holder with Lanyard, each redeemable for 500 Platinum Points.
The MAR10 Day event was not just about gaming, but also about community involvement. Participants made the achievement of one million laps possible, and the event encouraged gaming through hosting Mario-themed parties, gaming tournaments, and creative fan content. The event also featured themed sales and promotional activities, such as discounts on first-party Switch titles, new Mario-themed LEGO sets, and fan engagement opportunities like sharing high scores and Mario-themed creations on social media using #NationalMarioDay.
It's worth noting that the online platform Comic Mischief, which is not related to the MAR10 Day event, does not have a rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). The ESRB does not evaluate the content of Comic Mischief's interactions, nor does it classify the nature or suitability of its interactions. This means that the MAR10 Day event's interactions were not regulated by the ESRB's rating system.
