Celebrating three decades, Rototom Sunsplash,Europe's reggae sanctuary, honors its anniversary.

Get ready for an unforgettable musical experience as Rototom Sunsplash, Europe's largest reggae festival, returns to Benicàssim, Spain from August 16-23, 2025. This year's anniversary edition, themed "Celebrating Life," promises a diverse lineup of iconic reggae legends and rising stars.

The main stage will host renowned international artists alongside rising stars of reggae music. Among the top acts performing at this 30th edition are Shaggy, a two-time Grammy winner with a 30-year career milestone, and contemporary reggae legends Tarrus Riley and Morgan Heritage. Veteran British reggae band Aswad will also headline, representing a rich history in the genre.

Misty in Roots, celebrating their 50-year career and historic connection to the festival, will perform alongside Orishas, a renowned Cuban hip-hop and Afro-Cuban fusion band, adding cultural diversity to the event.

Over 200 concerts across multiple stages including Main Stage, Lion Stage, Dub Academy, DanceHall, and Jamkunda Stage will feature a blend of reggae legends and emerging artists. The festival's rich cultural program promotes values of sustainability and inclusion.

The campsite, the heart of the festival experience, offers complete facilities. The Magicomundo and Teen Yard areas are specifically designed for children and families. The festival demonstrates environmental commitment through recycling practices, use of renewable energy, and reduction of ecological impact.

Chilean artist Ana Tijoux, known for her influence in Latin American hip-hop, will perform, as well as Argentine singer La Yegros, known as the queen of nu-cumbia. Aurorawave, a California band that blends reggae with metal, will make their only European appearance at the festival.

Dancehall shows will feature international stars such as Kybba, Lampadread, Warrior Sound, Jazzy T, and David Rodigan. The festival will also feature the hip-hop of Movimiento Original, Spanish act Maruja Limón, the soul-reggae duo Mystically, and many other proposals.

The Social Forum will host interventions from various notable figures, including Brazil's Minister of Indigenous Peoples Sonia Guajajara and the Executive Director of UNRWA España Raquel Martí. Ky-Mani Marley and Julian Marley will honor their father's musical heritage at the festival. The Discovery Lab collaboration continues, featuring interventions from Sonia Guajajara and Raquel Martí.

The event features thousands of artists from over 25 countries and 5 continents, making it a truly global celebration of reggae music and culture. With over 204,000 attendees from around the world expected, Rototom Sunsplash 2025 promises to be an unmissable event for reggae fans everywhere.
