Y'allready know BigO, the '80s and '90s Singapore champ of home-grown music and pop culture? Well, after a brief hiatus, it's back in a two-day festival extravaganza to celebrate its 40th anniversary!
New gig organiser Neonpulse is bringin' it all back with a lineup of bands that graced the pages of BigO's past issues. Mark your calendars for April 12 and 13, and head on down to The Blackbird, Gillman Barracks at 8 Lock Road, just a few steps from Labrador Park MRT. Doors open at noon, and tickets will be available at the door for $38.
Sprinkle some veteran flavors onto your playlist with alternative rock quartet The Oddfellows and punk pioneers Opposition Party. These acts ruled the underground and indie scene back in the day and are ready to rock your socks off again!
Switchin' things up, we've got a whole array of bands with flavors from shoegaze to Vedic metal. Get ready to rock out with Astreal, Plainsunset, and Rudra, who all broke onto the scene in the early '90s and are back for this special occasion.
But that's not all, homies! Bands from the '00s are catchin' the wave, too. Retro favorites The Pinholes and indie rockers The Great Spy Experiment will be there, bringin' their own unique blend of sounds.

Marquee Singapore, the Marina Bay Sands nightclub, is pullin' out all the stops for its 6th anniversary! Don't miss the chance to see two of the world's biggest electronic dance music (EDM) stars light up the dance floor on April 11 and 12.
On April 11, get ready to boogie down with Dimitri Vegas, one half of the legendary DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. These guys have been killin' it in the DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list for years, and even made it to the top spot twice! Fans of the 2022 Hollywood dinosaur flick, Jurassic World: Dominion, might recognize Dimitri Vegas as the smuggler character in the film.
On April 12, put your dancin' shoes on because American DJ and record producer Steve Aoki is comin' your way! Known for dominating dance music festivals around the world, this Grammy winner and founder of record label and lifestyle brand Dim Mak Records just dropped his ninth album, Paragon, in 2024.

Get ready to groove to some live performances by your favorite home-grown acts! Sportswear giant Adidas is throwin' down a multi-act music festival, and singer-songwriter Regina Song, who blew up on TikTok, is one of the headliners. You'll also get to jam with lullaboy, rapper Mean, and singer-songwriter Jean Seizure.
And that's not all, homies! There's also a space called The Studio where you can customize your Adidas sneakers, get temporary tattoos, or add charms to your skate decks.
So, if you wanna catch Regina Song perform her latest single Fairy live for the first time in Singapore, you'll wanna make your way over to the Esplanade Annexe Studio at 1 Esplanade Drive on April 11 at 7pm.
