The city of Madrid will once again be the epicentre of Europe's largest Pride celebration, as the Madrid Pride 2025 parade takes place on Saturday, July 5th. This year's event, known as "Saca tu Orgullo 2025", will be broadcast live on RTVE Play starting at 19:30, with Aitor Albizua and Eva Soriano presenting the special coverage.

The broadcast will feature a comprehensive reporting team stationed along the parade route, including Cecilia Revuelta, Mario Montero, Marina Sala, Miriam Moreno, Sergio Recio, Clara Rivas, and Lourdes Maldonado. They will ensure that viewers don't miss any part of the diverse celebration.

Notably, the TVE float dedicated to the Benidorm Fest and Eurovision will be a highlight of the RTVE coverage. The float will feature Melody, a prominent participant from Benidorm Fest 2025, along with many other contestants and network personalities. Despite recent controversies, Melody will be present, as she is contractually obliged to participate in key post-Eurovision events such as this Pride parade.

The festivities will continue on Sunday with the concert '20 años de amor', which will take place at 9:30 PM on La 2 and RTVE Play. The concert will feature a star-studded lineup, including JJ, winner of Eurovision 2025, Ana Torroja, Marta Sánchez, Pastora Soler, Nebulossa, Soraya, Maria Peláe, Falete, Kuve, Mel Ömana, Carla Frigo, Jedet, Samantha Hudson, Luis Miguel, Gloria Trevi, Juan Sinmiedo, Hugo Marlo, Jimena Amarillo, Christine and the Queens, and Rozalén.

Actresses Luisa Gavasa, Paula Iwasaki, Raquel Varela, and Laura Porras from the theater play 'Chavela, la última chamana' will also be part of the concert. Additionally, ADONSXS, the Republic of Czechia's Eurovision representative, and Kyle Alessandro, Norway's Eurovision representative, were present at the event.

RTVE's celebration and claim around LGBTIQ+ rights lasted almost two weeks under the slogan 'Saca tu orgullo'. The special was presented by Aitor Albizua and Eva Soriano, who expressed the importance of celebrating love and respect during the event. María Eizaguirre, director of Communication and Participation of RTVE, thanked the attendees for always being by their side.

In a heartfelt statement, Melody expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate love and respect during the Madrid Pride 2025 parade. Lalachus, co-host of 'El Grand Prix del verano', was also present on RTVE's float this year.

As the Madrid Pride 2025 parade comes to a close, it marks another successful year of celebrating diversity, love, and advocacy in the heart of Europe.
