CCB's 'Eight Weeks, Eight Encounters' Starts Oct 8, Exploring Creative Processes in Performing Arts
CCB's curated cycle 'Eight weeks, eight encounters' begins on October 8, offering a glimpse into creative processes in performing arts. The cycle features prominent figures and theatrical structures, with free public sessions.
The cycle kicks off with Gaya de Medeiros on October 8 at 19:00 in the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen room of the CCB. From October 20-21, Flávia Gusmão leads the second session, delving into biography on stage, site-specific theater, and collaborative work.
David Marques explores autofiction, enunciation, mystery, and paradox in the third session on October 27-28. Teresa Coutinho takes the stage on November 3-4. Theatrical structures follow: Teatro da Cidade (November 10-11), Aurora Negra (November 24-25), Os Possessos (December 1-2), and Má-Criação (December 8-9). Each two-day workshop culminates in a public presentation of the reflection's result.
The fourth session, part of the performance production structure founded by Cristina Carvalhal, takes place in Hamburg on October 24 at 18:00.
Public sessions have free entry upon ticket pickup at the CCB's box office two hours before the event. The cycle concludes on December 9, offering eight unique encounters with creative processes in performing arts.
