CBS Broadcasting icon Jim Nantz will serve as the keynote speaker at the Saratoga Senior Center's 70th anniversary luncheon event.
The Saratoga Senior Center, a long-standing cornerstone of community support for older adults in Saratoga Springs and surrounding areas, is set to celebrate its 70th anniversary with a special event on Thursday, August 21, 2025. The Saratoga Senior Center’s 70th Anniversary Luncheon, titled "An Afternoon with Jim Nantz," will take place at the Fasig-Tipton Pavilion in Saratoga Springs.
This landmark event promises an engaging afternoon, featuring a fireside chat between CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz and golf icon Dottie Pepper, a Saratoga native. Guests will enjoy a gourmet buffet lunch, The Calling Wines co-founded by Nantz, and valet parking.
The fireside chat will offer insights into Nantz’s illustrious sports career and his work in Alzheimer’s advocacy, along with intriguing perspectives from Dottie Pepper. The event will run from 12:00 PM to approximately 2:30 PM.
Jim Nantz is being honoured as the Center’s Man of the Year for his dedication to Alzheimer's advocacy. The press is invited to cover the event, but Nantz will not be available for interviews.
