Futurama, the popular sci-fi series created by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, is set to make a comeback in 2025. The third season since the original series ended in 2013 will consist of ten episodes, continuing the story from where it left off in the 2013 series finale.

In addition to its US premiere, the new season of Futurama is scheduled to air on German TV in 2025 on ProSieben starting October 12, 2025. The series has consistently been a viewer favourite, holding the title of the #1 most viewed show among Viewbots.
