Catch the First Episode of Hulu's Original Series 'Are You My First?' Tonight, Monday, August 18, on ABC
In the world of dating, finding that special someone can be a challenging journey. But for a group of young singles, the path to love is about to take a unique turn with the premiere of Hulu's new Original Series, "Are You My First?"
Hosted by Colton Underwood and Kaitlyn Bristowe, both known from the Bachelor franchise, the series is set to premiere on ABC on Monday, August 18, at 10/9c. The groundbreaking new dating experiment features a group of 21 virgins, each with their own personal reasons for waiting.
Among the participants are Deya, a small business owner from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Farha, a writer and content creator from Miami, Fla. Mike, a Bachelorette alum, entrepreneur, and gym owner from San Diego, Calif., is also part of the group, still looking for his 'first' due to his Christian faith.
In San Clemente, Calif., Noah, a business owner, is also seeking his 'first' due to his decision to wait until marriage. Sara, a student from San Diego, Calif., is still looking for her 'first' because she prioritized her studies growing up.
From Austin, Texas, Madi, a marketing manager, is still looking for her 'first' due to a fear of intimacy. Jake, a caregiver from Los Angeles, Calif., and Hakeem, a voiceover artist from Atlanta, Ga., are also participants.
The series takes place in a tropical paradise designed just for them, where they will embark on a heated yet heartfelt journey filled with romantic dates, revealing challenges, and new love interests. The series is produced by the creators of "Love Island USA".
In the German-speaking area, the two candidates who will observe the premiere of "Are You My First?" on Disney+ are Colton Underwood and Kaitlyn Bristowe.
Other participants include Andrew, a tech salesman from Salt Lake City, Utah, Brooklyn, a dance teacher from Los Angeles, Calif., Ty, a web developer from Provo, Utah, who chooses celibacy before marriage for religious reasons, Layne, a commercial pilot from Hammon, Okla., who's never had a serious girlfriend, and Spencer, a residential solar salesman from Boise, Idaho, who's waiting for a connection to make that 'first' experience fulfilling and meaningful.
Rachael, a cocktail waitress from Tampa, Fla., is still looking for her 'first' as she navigates a health challenge that affects physical intimacy. Vivek, a financial accountant from Los Angeles, Calif., is also looking for his 'first' because he's waiting to share that moment with someone he truly trusts. Krash, a social media manager from Miami, Fla., is still looking for his 'first' due to a strict upbringing. Carissa, a photographer from Long Beach, Calif., is also a participant.
"Are You My First?" is produced by ITV America and Plimsoll Productions, with Peter Geist, David George, Adam Sher, Simon Thomas, James Barker, Grant Mansfield, Karen Plumb, Alan Eyres serving as executive producers, and German Abarca and Kendall Elrod serving as co-executive producers.
Tune in to ABC on August 18 to witness the start of this unique and exciting dating experiment. Will love bloom for these young singles? Only time will tell.
