Numbering around ninety percent as Democrats, these residents were all in for the progressive agenda, particularly Diversity-Equity-and-Inclusion (DEI), open borders, and the multitude of strangers that flooded the nation.

Now, whispers swirl across cyber waves regarding these mystery migrants scouring the wreckage for loot on their battery-powered scooters and cars. One can't help but wonder if the people in the Mountain regions still puzzling the issue of 'America First' have any recollection of this.

The emotional toll on families will be immense in the coming months and years. Insurance companies canceled policies for many homeowners in fire-prone areas due to excessive bureaucratic red tape. Many of those lost homes will be total losses, even those built in the 1960s and valued at millions in neighborhoods like Pacific Palisades, the Hollywood Hills, and Malibu Beach. Comedian Adam Carolla highlighted the crushing permitting process in Los Angeles County, slamming the additional environmental agency hurdles and the scarcity of competent building contractors to handle the rebuilding of so many houses at once. Thousands of families may find themselves homeless for years ahead.

The ripple effects of this disaster on the movie industry are also uncertain. The movie business had been on life support prior to the fires, hampered by woke management, shifting movie tastes, writers and actors' strikes, high-priced union labor, and the gradual move of the industry away from California. Thousands of showbiz folks may feel the urge to flee the scene of the disaster, leaving a gaping hole in California's economy.
