Cat Stevens' USA & Canada Tour Postponed Due to Visa Delays
Cat Stevens, now known as Yusuf, has postponed his book tour in the USA and Canada due to delayed visa approvals. The tour, set to begin on October 5 in Philadelphia, has been put on hold despite the singer's disappointment and the excitement of fans who have already bought tickets.
Stevens' autobiography, 'Cat on the Road to Findout', is still on track for release this week in the UK and next week in North America. The book chronicles the singer's winding career path. The U.S. Department of State and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have yet to issue the necessary visas, causing the postponement. Stevens has expressed his regret for the inconvenience caused to fans and assured that the tour will be rescheduled once the visa approvals are granted.
The release of 'Cat on the Road to Findout' remains unaffected by the tour postponement. Fans are advised to keep their tickets and await further announcements regarding the rescheduled tour dates.
