Castle's harmony echoing
The Fachbereich Kirchenmusik of the Diocese of Eichstätt is hosting two choral workshops at Schloss Hirschberg, a picturesque location that will serve as the perfect backdrop for these musical events.
Under the direction of Domkapellmeister Manfred Faig, these workshops will focus on choral literature from various epochs, providing participants with a unique opportunity to delve into the rich history of choral music. Each workshop will last from Friday to Saturday, offering a weekend immersed in music and camaraderie.
Choral singers and choir leaders from across the diocese are invited to participate. The first workshop will take place from November 7th to 8th, and the second from November 14th to 15th.
A particular focus will be on proper vocal treatment during the workshops, ensuring that participants can perform to the best of their abilities while maintaining their vocal health. The conclusion of the first workshop is on November 8th, and the second on November 15th.
Schloss Hirschberg, with its historic charm, will provide an ideal setting for these musical gatherings. The names of the participants of the choir groups at the two workshops are not publicly available, but the promise of a shared love for music and a desire to learn and grow is what unites them all.
So, if you're a choral singer or choir leader looking to expand your repertoire and improve your skills, consider joining these workshops at Schloss Hirschberg. It's an opportunity not to be missed!
