Cast Your Vote for the Most Attractive Police Cruiser in 2026: Best-Looking Cruiser Competition for MSP Troopers

The American Association of State Troopers (AAST) has launched the 2026 Best-Looking Cruiser Contest, showcasing state police cruisers from across the United States. The top 13 states with the most votes will earn a place in the 2026 AAST calendar, with the state securing the highest number of votes taking the coveted cover spot.

Maryland State Police are among the participating departments, showcasing Baltimore's urban beauty alongside the professionalism of their cruiser. The contest, which runs until July 11, 2025, invites Marylanders to support their home team and help the Maryland State Police secure a place in the national spotlight.

Currently, Florida leads the contest, having held the top spot multiple years in a row. Close behind is Ohio. Other states in the top 13 include Kentucky, Oklahoma, Georgia, Texas, Missouri, North Dakota, Virginia, Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, and Michigan, which currently ranks around 3rd place with its 2024 Dodge Durango "Blue Goose."

Voting can be done on SurveyMonkey, the AAST Facebook page, or the official AAST website (StateTroopers.org). Each person is allowed one vote per device per day. The calendars will be available for purchase starting in October, with proceeds supporting educational scholarships for dependents of troopers through the AAST Foundation.

Other states involved or mentioned in the contest include Colorado, Maine, Alaska, and Hawaii (not participating as it has no state police).

The contest not only celebrates state law enforcement pride but also serves as a fundraiser for trooper families. Last year's contest drew thousands of votes from across the U.S.

A department spokesperson stated that the cruiser reflects the strength of Maryland State Police and the communities they serve. The contest highlights the distinct patrol vehicles used by state police agencies across the country.

Voting for the 2025 Best-Looking Cruiser Contest is now open and can be done at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BestLookingCruiser2025. Support your local state police and help them shine on a national stage!
