Revved Up Betting Action in Arizona

Step right up, sports fans! Caesars Sportsbook is making waves in Arizona with a double whammy of retail sports betting locations opening in less than a week.

First up, the excitement began at Chase Field on June 21, marking the second Major League Baseball stadium ever to feature a live, in-person sportsbook - and it even boasts a Guy Fieri Kitchen + Bar! Not to be outdone, they opened the gates of Arizona Downs on Saturday, providing another venue for sports enthusiasts to collect their tickets and place bets.

Caesars Sportsbook's footprint in Arizona isn't just expanding on the ground. They've been taking bets online since the 2021 NFL season's kickoff. And the best part? All these platforms allow customers to earn Caesars Rewards loyalty points!

Way More Than a Game

The Chase Field sportsbook offers a state-of-the-art experience with wall-to-wall flat-screen televisions, teller windows, kiosks, lounge-style seating over two floors, and an outdoor patio with televisions for those who'd rather catch the action under the sun.

At Arizona Downs, customers can use self-service kiosks or cash tickets at a betting window. The track hosts live racing events on specific nights, giving fans even more opportunities to cheer on their favorite teams.

From sportsbooks to dining, Chase Field has it all. According to Diamondbacks President and CEO Derrick Hall, "Everything about this dynamic venue has been meticulously planned for an unmatched guest experience."

Wagering Across the Nation

Caesars Entertainment has been a trailblazer in bringing sports betting to professional sports venues, with four sportsbooks across the U.S. The Chase Field location is the latest addition to their roster. Caesars also owns and operates sportsbooks at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., which was the first of its kind when it opened in 2020.

As of now, six U.S. jurisdictions have authorized professional sports teams to take part in legal wagering - Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Ohio, and Washington, D.C. FanDuel and BetMGM are also joining the fray, having opened their sportsbooks at the Footprint Center in Phoenix and Washington's Nationals Park, respectively.

While every professional sports team in Arizona partners with a sportsbook, not all will open retail locations. However, MGM is planning to open the first sportsbook at a professional football stadium during the 2021 NFL season, in partnership with the NFL Cardinals.

Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C., FanDuel plans to open a sportsbook at Audi Field early next month, making it the first Major League Soccer stadium with a physical sportsbook. In Chicago, sportsbook operators DraftKings and FanDuel are busy planning their facilities at Wrigley Field and the United Center, respectively.

So grab your jersey and your betting slips, sports fans! Some of the biggest names in the game are ready to take bets across the nation. Time to up the ante on your game-day experience!
