On May 25th, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will host the 109th running of "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing," where over 350,000 spectators are anticipated to attend. This prestigious event features 33 drivers striving to secure first place and claim a share of a potential $20 million prize pool.

- Helio Castroneves, a four-time winner, has claimed $14,985,749 in prize money.
- Scott Dixon, a New Zealand native, holds $11,128,846 in winnings from his sole victory in 2009.
- Tony Kanaan has earned $9,975,963, mostly from his 2013 victory.
- Dario Franchitti took home $8,931,638, with his wins coming in 2007, 2010, and 2012.
- Dan Wheldon, who won the race in 2005 and 2011, has pocketed $8,264,550.
