Car thefts of Audi and BMW models have apparently come to a halt.

In the latest report by the German Association of Motor Insurers (GDV), the Lexus NX emerged as the most stolen car in Germany in 2024, with a staggering 130 thefts per 10,000 insured cars. Toyota, Kia, and Hyundai have made it to positions five to seven in terms of theft rate per 10,000 insured cars. Audi's second-generation Q7 is in eighth place, with 53 car thefts per 10,000 insured cars.
