Car enthusiasts from Nizhny Novgorod showcased their vehicles in a street exhibition

In the heart of Russia, Nizhny Novgorod played host to an inspiring event on August 11, 2025 - the Invadrive auto race. Organized by the Nizhny Novgorod public organization for the rehabilitation of disabled individuals, "Invatur", in collaboration with the charitable foundation "Win and conquer", this race aimed to showcase the talents and capabilities of drivers with disabilities (DWDs).

The race, designed to promote inclusivity and accessibility in competitive auto racing, attracted a total of 13 two-person crews. Among the participants was a war veteran, demonstrating the resilience and determination of those involved.

Kavkaz Suleymanov emerged as the winner of the Invadrive auto race, showcasing exceptional skill during the competition. As a reward for his victory, he received a certificate for 160 liters of gasoline.

Arina Sadulina, the manager of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Social Fund of Russia, attended the ceremony and stated that the Invadrive auto race demonstrates the strength of the human spirit. She emphasized that events like these help break down barriers and change perceptions about the abilities of people with disabilities.

The drivers navigated the vehicles using hand controls, proving that physical impairments do not limit their ability to compete at high levels. This race served as an important symbol of accessibility in sports, fostering a sense of community and mutual support among disabled individuals and their allies in the motorsport sector.

The Invadrive auto race in Nizhny Novgorod aims to raise public awareness about the abilities and potential of people with disabilities, promoting a more inclusive society. It offers an opportunity for disabled drivers to develop and demonstrate their driving skills in a controlled, competitive environment, empowering them and challenging common stereotypes.
