Car Collides with Ambulance - Car crashes into ambulance on Stuttgart bridge during lane change

A car collided with an ambulance on Friday evening in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. The crash happened on the König-Karl-Brücke when a 32-year-old driver failed to spot the emergency vehicle while changing lanes. The incident caused minor injuries and significant damage to both vehicles.

The collision occurred just before nightfall as the ambulance travelled across the bridge. The 19-year-old driver of the emergency vehicle suffered light injuries and was taken to hospital for checks. No patient was on board at the time, and the ambulance was not using its sirens or flashing lights.

The ambulance driver received medical attention as a precaution before being released. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. The financial cost of repairs will be covered by insurance.
