In a recent visit to Torino, Italian national team manager Rino Gattuso met with various club officials and players, including team manager Alessandro Andreini and collaborator Emiliano Moretti, a former Azzurro. The visit, which took place this morning, was part of Gattuso's scheduled tour to speak with coaches and players of Serie A teams.

During his visit, Gattuso had lunch at Filadelfia with Marco Baroni and Davide Vagnati. The discussion revolved around the championship, possibly referring to the ongoing Serie A season, as well as the needs of the national team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. The topic of Cesare Casadei, a midfielder for Torino and a pillar of the Under 20 and Under 21 teams, was also on the agenda.

Cesare Casadei, affectionately known as "Ringhio," has been a standout player for Torino but has yet to make his debut for the national team. Despite his impressive performances, he was not called up by Gattuso for the recent matches against Estonia and Israel, which the national team's opponents have recently lost. However, his improving performance has made him a candidate for the October window, when the national team will play in Tallinn against Estonia and Udine against Israel.

Gattuso took the time to meet with Casadei during his visit to Torino. The young midfielder was also present during the lunch at Filadelfia, along with other club officials such as Alberto Barile, the director of operations for Torino, and Mauro Vladovic, the organizational secretary of Club Italia.

Despite the presence of key national team members like Gigi Buffon and Leonardo Bonucci, they were not present during Gattuso's visit to Torino. Luigi Riccio, Gattuso's long-time assistant, accompanied him during his visit.

As of now, there is no official update yet on Cesare Casadei's call-up status for the Italian national football team matches in October. Fans will eagerly await the announcement to see if Casadei will finally make his debut for the national team.
