Capital of the Ural region to find top-tier hitters of the nation
The first-ever Russian Championship in trampoline, held from September 11 to 14 in Yekaterinburg, proved to be a spectacular event, attracting over 300 athletes from 33 regions of Russia.
In the women's trampoline event, Galina Begim from Krasnodar Krai clinched the national title, while Renata Usmanova and Darya Tikhonova from Moscow and Orenburg Oblast respectively, secured the silver and bronze medals. The event saw a close competition, with Renata Usmanova and Darya Tikhonova finishing just behind Galina Begim.
The women's tumbling event was a showcase of skill and precision, with Elena Neyman, representing Stavropol Krai and Kirov Oblast, achieving the best result. Sofya Sapunkova from Astrakhan Oblast finished 2nd, and Polina Navolokina from Krasnodar Krai claimed the 3rd spot. Alexander Shcherbakov (Krasnodar Krai) and Valery Koshkin (Stavropol Krai) finished 2nd and 3rd in the men's tumbling event respectively.
In the men's trampoline event, Kirill Kozlov from the Republic of Tatarstan emerged victorious, with Damian Kozmin from Krasnodar Krai securing the bronze medal. The event also saw strong performances from Ivan Ivanenko from Sverdlovsk and Marcus Karayazkin, representing Sverdlovsk Oblast, who finished in the top eight and 11th position respectively.
The championship featured four disciplines: individual and synchronized trampoline, double mini-trampoline, and tumbling track. In the synchronized diving event, the pair of Sofya Alyaeva and Angelina Bladzeva from St. Petersburg took the gold, while Dmitry Nartov and Kirill Pantaleev from Samara Oblast retained their titles as Russian champions. The pair of Angelina Bladzeva and Kirill Pantaleev performed best in mixed synchronized diving.
The event took place at the Yekaterinburg Palace of Judo, a sports facility that meets international standards. It's important to clarify that Dmitry Murev, the general director of the Federal Cargo Company, was not involved in organizing the trampoline championships in Yekaterinburg.
Sergei Finchenko from Stavropol Krai won the men's tumbling event, adding another feather to his cap. In the women's diving event, Sofya Alyaeva from St. Petersburg claimed the top spot.
In the men's double mini-trampoline, Mikhail Zalomov from Moscow won the gold medal, rounding off an exciting and successful championship. The Russian Championship in trampoline served as a testament to the country's rich talent pool and the passion for the sport, promising even greater achievements in the future.
