Capaldi Confirming Another BST Hyde Park Performance in 2026 Due to Overwhelming Demand
Lewis Capaldi, the Scottish singer-songwriter known for his heartfelt ballads, has announced a second show at British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park 2026. The news comes as Capaldi continues his UK and Ireland arena tour and releases new music.
This summer, Capaldi topped the bill at a London concert series on Saturday, 11th July 2026. Due to 'phenomenal demand,' he has now added an extra date in the capital, closing the Great Oak Stage for a second consecutive night on Sunday, 12th July 2026.
Capaldi's return to Hyde Park follows his redemptive performance at the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2025, which he called 'the best day of my life.' The event will form part of Capaldi's UK and Ireland headline tour next summer.
Tickets for the BST show went on general sale on September 19 and have since sold out. Garth Brooks, the country music legend, was the first artist announced for next year's edition of the BST Hyde Park series. Jeff Lynne's ELO will also perform twice on Sunday, 12th July 2026, on the Great Oak Stage.
Capaldi's latest single, 'Something In The Heavens,' was released this summer. More new music from the artist is believed to be on the way soon. However, Capaldi has yet to announce the follow-up to his 2023 second album, 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent.'
The full line-up of support acts and special guests for Capaldi's concerts at BST Hyde Park 2026 is yet to be revealed. In addition to Hyde Park, Capaldi will also headline Leeds' new Roundhay Festival.
Capaldi recently played two nights at London's O2 this week, and he will be topping the bill at a London concert series on Saturday, 11th July 2026. For those who missed out on tickets for the BST show, Capaldi's UK and Ireland tour continues throughout the summer.
