Canucks Honor Filipino Culture with Historic Heritage Night Celebration

The Vancouver Canucks will host their first-ever Filipino Heritage Night on December 5th at 6:00pm. The event aims to celebrate the local Filipino community while sharing their culture with fans. A special logo, designed by Vancouver artist Karissa Narukami, has been unveiled for the occasion. The newly revealed logo draws inspiration from the Philippine flag. It includes three golden stars, a golden sun with eight rays, and the colours red and blue—symbolising patriotism, valour, peace, truth, and justice. The event brings together hockey and Filipino culture for a night of celebration. Fans attending the game or watching from home will experience performances, food, and unique merchandise. The Canucks’ initiative highlights the contributions of the Filipino community in Vancouver.
