Candidate Registration Initiated: Denis Pasler Takes First Steps in Regional Governor Election of Sverdlovsk

June 17th shook up the political landscape of Sverdlovsk region, as Denis Pasler, a United Russia party delegate, clinched the governorship nomination at the regional conference. This move marked the commencement of formal campaigning for the September 2025 elections.

Pasler's nomination was celebrated by the delegates who lauded his steady governance, backing for municipalities, and successful social initiatives. The likes of Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, echoed these sentiments in his speech at a video conference, attributing Pasler's nomination to open discussions with local leaders. Yakushev underscored Pasler's achievements, including plans for a rehabilitation center and a bridge project in September. He expressed confidence in Pasler's candidacy and encouraged support for him in the upcoming gubernatorial elections.

Responding to the delegate's support, Pasler acknowledged the challenging path ahead but expressed optimism, stating his years of party membership and dedication to the region's well-being. He promised to address every resident's concerns in the party's program. "The region's prosperity lies in our hands, our engagement, and love for our hometown," Pasler remarked.

With his United Russia party endorsement, Pasler expressed conviction that positive changes will flow from the party's relentless efforts in the country and region.

As of now, no other political parties have announced their candidates for the gubernatorial race. However, the regional election commission plans to establish polling stations for three consecutive days starting September 12, making sure every voter can exercise their right to vote.
